Describe your personality and character: I am an easy going person who loves to live life to the fullest. I love animals. I am very passionate about animal rights and saving abandoned animals. I have nursed many orphaned animals back to health and have volunteered at the wildlife rehab center. My friends and family are my number one. I am always there to listen or to offer advice.
How do you think others would describe you? My friends describe me as honest, open, friendly, kind, compassionate, adventurous, loyal, fun, assertive, opinionated, BIG animal lover, open-minded, passionate and happy.
What would you say is your strongest personal trait and why? I am very compassionate. I feel it has benefited many orphaned animals as I never say no to an animal in need. I apply the same compassion to my friends and am always willing to help out and put them before myself.
What is your favorite sport? Soccer and horse back riding.
Describe your own athletic ability/skills: I love to horseback ride.
What is your favorite type of music? I like electronica, dance music, and indie music.
Why is this your favorite type of music? I like music that I can dance to and sing along with.
Describe your own musical abilities/skills: I learned to play guitar as a child. I wish I had learned more.
Describe any other special talents, skills, hobbies or interests you may have: I like spending time at the dog park with my dogs, riding my horse, hanging out with friends, camping, bbqs, and going to the beach.
What is your favorite book? I like to read anything about animals. Anything informative on natural animal care.
What is your favorite movie? The Man from Snowy River
Why? It was my favorite as a child and it still is. I just love it. It’s about horses and it’s a classic.
Describe your own artistic abilities/skills: I love to paint with oils. My mom is a very talented oil painter.

Have you had any unique travel experiences that you feel have helped shape your way of thinking and/or the way you live your life?
I feel that because I grew up traveling and living all over the world, I have an advantage over other young adults my age. I have experienced a lot more and have learned more about life in other countries. Because of this, I am able to appreciate the life I do have so much more.
Have you had any unique educational experiences? I have taken a childcare course which resulted in a certificate. I also took a digital photography course which led to a digital photography certificate. I studied learning disabilities in children in university. I specialized in children with Down Syndrome and children with Autism. I now have a very fulfilling job working with children with Autism and I find it so rewarding.
Have you had any unique experiences with volunteer work? I worked at a wildlife rehab center and really enjoyed it. I volunteered in the Avian Nursery and my main job was caring for the crow and blue jay hatchlings. I really enjoyed it and to this day, I absolutely love birds and bird watching.
If you were given enough funds to spend one year of your life to engage in any recreational, political, religious/spiritual, or other endeavor of particular importance to you, what would you choose to do? I would choose to use the money to pay for grad school. I am currently saving to go to grad school so that I can attain my master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) so that I can learn more about teaching children with Autism and further my career in this field. |
