Personal Profile

Describe your personality and character: I am outgoing, energetic and optimistic.

How do you think others would describe you?
Kind, loving, and always willing to listen and help.

What would you say is your strongest personal trait and why?
My social skills (being outgoing) because I have met a lot of great people and learned a lot from talking and getting to know so many.

What is your favorite sport?
I love to play softball and soccer and love to watch football.
Describe your own athletic ability/skills:
I was an excellent softball pitcher and was moved up to Varsity in 8th grade. I also played soccer on the boys’ team for 10 years. I still continue to play co-ed softball and volleyball in the spring, summer and fall.

What is your favorite type of music?
R&B
Why is this your favorite type of music? I appreciate a great voice and I love slow, emotional music.
Describe your own musical abilities/skills: I played saxophone both in school band and jazz band from 5th grade through my junior year in high school.

What is your favorite book? The Notebook
Why? It’s a great love story.

What is your favorite movie? There are so many… The Notebook and 300 to name two.
Why? I enjoy a good love story as well as action packed movies, and I especially like when history is included as well.

Describe your own artistic abilities/skills: I love and appreciate art. I do some drawing and painting.

Have you had any unique travel experiences that you feel have helped shape your way of thinking and/or the way you live your life? I traveled to Europe when I was 15. I think seeing the history of other countries that were established long before the United States opened my eyes to a whole new way of thinking. I also learned to appreciate art and history more.

Have you had any unique experiences with volunteer work? My mother and I volunteered at a homeless shelter when I was in high school.

If you were given enough funds to spend one year of your life to engage in any recreational, political, religious/spiritual, or other endeavor of particular importance to you, what would you choose to do? I would go to Africa and help children get an education. I think the best way to fight a future of poverty is to educate. There are so many people less fortunate than us who deserve a chance at life. If I had enough money to live for a year without working, I would travel to at least one country in Africa to help.

Philosophies and Thoughts

What is your philosophy on life? Life is what you make it. Either your cup is half full or half empty. Mine is half full.

How did you come to have this philosophy on life? Watching my mother go through many struggles raising 3 kids and then overcoming many obstacles and going back to school and finishing her degree while working and taking care of kids.

What is your ultimate goal and ambition in life? Be happy and healthy. If you take care of yourself, you can help take care of others. My kids and my husband are my world.

How do you plan on achieving this goal? Take care of myself mentally and physically and save money.

Why do you want to be an egg donor? To give to others the happiness and love I feel every day from my children.

What do you think egg donation means to potential recipients? A love only a mother and father can feel from the joys of children.

What are your thoughts on egg donation as a fertility option? I think it is a great resource and option for those that have been struggling to have children.
