Describe your personality and character: Very easy going, for the most part. I am always thinking outside the box.

How do you think others would describe you? Compassionate, creative, dependable, a little on the crazy/fun side, well put together.

What would you say is your strongest personal trait and why? My creativity and my presence. My creativity allows me to express myself in ways that others can’t. My presence because I don’t generally have to say much when I enter a room. I have a very strong presence that says quite a bit-I then just have to allow my actions to back it up.

Describe your own athletic ability/skills: I have none-they all went to my brother. I don’t think there’s a sport he can’t excel at. Me, on the other hand, I am not very good at sports. I think it’s because I did not spend very much time outside as a child.

What is your favorite type of music? I love all music. I am especially drawn to neo-soul and the sound of nature.
Why is this your favorite type of music? I love neo-soul generally because of the writing or the lyrics used. The sounds of nature relax me and make me contemplate on what a wonderful god we have.
Describe your own musical abilities/skills: I write songs from time to time and I can hold a tune if in a chorus.

Describe any other special talents, skills, hobbies or interests you may have: I love to cook, create new dishes. I also have a love of fashion.

What is your favorite book? Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry and Song of Solomon
Why? I love Roll of Thunder because it’s a story of triumph and is written with very vivid imagery. I love Song of Solomon because it’s a story of love and history and I especially love all of the irony and vivid images.

What is your favorite movie? The Five Heart Beats
Why? I’m not sure, I can just watch it over and over again. I love singing all of the songs. I think I like it because it shows how friendship can be tested and broken in a sense, but the bonds of friendship are never broken to a point of no return.
Describe your own artistic abilities/skills: I am very artistic; I love the production of theater and have the ability to do it well. I also have the ability to draw fashion and I have a good eye for photography.

Have you had any unique travel experiences that you feel have helped shape your way of thinking and/or the way you live your life?
Yes, as a child my mother made sure that we went to visit other countries and made sure that while we were there, we experienced the everyday life of the locals. One of the most enlightening trips was to Gorie Island, off the cost of Senegal. This is where they would hold and then ship slaves over to America-my soul has never felt anything like what I felt there before. I can’t truly put that experience into words, however if it did nothing else, it brought home the point that I am not just living for myself, but that I am living for the many that came before me and the many that will come after.

Have you had any unique educational experiences? I went to massage school and I think the coolest thing about going was that it teaches you how to listen to your body. The body is always communicating with you and it can heal itself if we could just stop, listen, and follow directions.

Have you had any unique experiences with volunteer work? I don’t think that my experience was unique, but I am proud of it. I was a mentor to two young ladies and instead of picking them up and going to the movies or something similar, we would go and volunteer with other organizations. I believe that this helped to make these two young ladies very well rounded individuals.

If you were given enough funds to spend one year of your life to engage in any recreational, political, religious/spiritual, or other endeavor of particular importance to you, what would you choose to do? I would serve in what my religion (Jehovah Witness) calls “greater need areas”. This is generally where they may need more English-speaking individuals or where the population is much larger than the number of Jehovah Witnesses in the area. I don’t think there is anything in life that would make me happier.

What is your philosophy on life? What will be, will be, however you need to always be prepared to shape the outcome to your advantage.

How did you come to have this philosophy on life? It’s just how I live.

What is your ultimate goal and ambition in life? To live a life of peace and happiness, which can only be done by always putting Jehovah first. Each day, I try.

How do you plan on achieving this goal? By praying for holy spirit each morning and taking each person or situation that I come into each day as the last, so that I can make sure it is a memorable experience.

Why do you want to be an egg donor? I originally became interested when I learned about the compensation because I do have some debt I would like to clear up, but after reading some testimonials and doing some research, I thought how great it would be to help a family fulfill one of life’s dreams.

What do you think egg donation means to potential recipients? From everything I’ve read, it seems to “dot the I” in the world of life. For them, how great a gift.

What are your thoughts on egg donation as a fertility option? It’s great! Even though God has given us these wonderful systems we call bodies, we are so far removed from perfect that they don’t always give us everything he intended for us to have. The fact that we can help each other attain these gifts is just unbelievably great.

Is there anything else you would like to share about yourself that we haven’t asked? I guess if I had to sum myself up in a few words I would say that I am a passionate, fun-loving individual who’s always looking beyond the surface of a situation or person.
